8 ways to use Geopapa

Start with something useful

Copy a prompt into a chat with Geopapa connected. Name the child if more than one is available. Give your timezone for dates and schedules; the assistant can clarify missing details. These are example prompts, not real family information.

Read access

Bring the family into one update

Review selected children, tasks, last reported locations and phone battery levels together.

Give me a morning family briefing: last reported locations, phone battery levels and tasks. Include observation and receipt times where known, and anything we do not know yet.

Give me an evening summary for the children. What do we know about today and their tasks? Show gaps in the data.

Briefings are generated when you ask. Automatic morning or evening briefing delivery is not built in.

Location, history and places

Understand a day and compare observations

Review the history reported by the device and differences between comparable days.

Where was my child last seen, and when was that point reported? What do we know about its freshness?

Compare today's observations with the previous three matching weekdays, from 08:00 to 09:00. Ask for my timezone and check that the window has ended first. Show differences and gaps.

Comparison needs completed periods and enough comparable data. Device observations do not establish a complete route or prove a visit.

Read and change tasks

Turn a plan into a task

Prepare clear tasks with rewards and review their progress.

Prepare a task called 'Pack the school bag', due today at 8 pm, with a reward of 10 coins. Confirm the child and timezone, show the terms and wait for my approval.

Show my child's unfinished tasks and their deadlines. Do not change anything.

Coins are awarded through task completion under the app's rules. Creating a task does not confirm that the child received a notification.

Read and change tasks

Set up the tasks that repeat

Plan a routine for a fixed period, change future dates or pause it.

Prepare a task called 'Pack the school bag' on weekdays, due at 7 pm for the next four weeks, reward 10 coins. Ask for my timezone and show the schedule before saving.

Show my repeating tasks. Prepare to pause 'Pack the school bag' and explain what happens to tasks already created.

Routines run for up to 90 days. Pausing stops new tasks; it does not archive tasks already created.

Read app data

Make sense of screen time

Review reported app use and compare periods while keeping missing data visible.

Review my child's screen time for the last seven days. Show app use and days with no data.

Compare screen time for the last two complete weeks. Ask for my timezone first. Do not count missing days as zero; explain what can be compared.

Availability depends on reports from the phone. Incomplete or incomparable data does not support a confident conclusion.

Android · read and change app rules

Prepare game limits and restore earlier settings

Choose exact rules for supported Android apps, review the changes and then approve them.

Help me choose an installed game and prepare a 30-minute daily limit. Show the changes first; do not save anything without my approval.

Prepare to undo the latest app-control change. Show which previous settings can be restored and wait for my approval.

Requires permissions and a fresh report from a supported Android device. Restore is conditional on no later policy changes and a successful eligibility check. Automatic 'undo in an hour' and MCP control of iOS Screen Time are not supported.

Read and change geofences

Set up alerts for familiar places

Choose a place already saved in Geopapa and prepare an arrival or departure rule.

Show the saved places and geofence rules for my child.

For the saved place 'School', prepare arrival and departure alerts on weekdays from 08:00 to 20:00. Confirm the child and timezone, then show the terms before saving.

Create a new place in the Geopapa app first. The rule owner receives notifications through Geopapa: at most one arrival and one departure alert per rule per day in the chosen timezone. Events depend on fresh GPS reports; push delivery is not guaranteed.

Diagnostics · read access

Find out what needs checking

Review report freshness and what to check on the phone.

Check the freshness of location, app reports and battery information. What is known, and what should I check on the phone?

Check the saved app-control settings. Has the phone reported those settings? Do not infer actual blocking from the report alone.

Diagnostics read available information without changing settings. The cause of missing reports may remain unknown; actual blocking needs a phone check.

A few steps to get started

Connect Geopapa

Your family needs at least one active paid Geopapa subscription. No invitation is required. Your AI client must support adding a remote MCP server with OAuth; availability depends on its plan and settings.

  1. Add Geopapa in your AI client

Choose to add a remote MCP server, paste the address below and select OAuth sign-in.

  2. Sign in and choose the access

On the Geopapa page, sign in to your account and select children and permissions. Newly linked children are not added automatically.

  3. Start with a simple question

Select Geopapa in your chat and ask: “Which children are available?” Then try one of the examples.

MCP server address

https://mcp.geopapa.com/mcp

Geopapa currently uses a manual connection; publication in the ChatGPT directory is not complete. With OAuth, you do not paste an API token into chat.

You choose what to share.

MCP needs at least one active paid subscription in the family. When it expires, data access pauses even if your connection is already configured.

  • Choose children and permissions separately. Location, history, tasks and applications have different read permissions.
  • Before changing tasks, geofences or app limits, your assistant should show the exact conditions and get your approval.
  • Revoking access stops future requests. Previously shared responses may remain with the AI provider under its retention policies.
How your data is handled

Good to know

What is MCP?

MCP is a standard that lets an AI assistant use Geopapa's tools. It does not add new sensors or communicate with your child independently. Answers use information available in Geopapa.

Can I use ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes, if your client's plan and settings support custom remote MCP servers with OAuth. Geopapa currently connects manually using its server address; its public ChatGPT directory listing is not yet published. Menu names can change, so check your client's instructions.

Can the assistant see all my children?

Only the children selected during connection, and only the information allowed by that connection. Newly linked children are not added automatically. You can revoke access in your Geopapa account.

Who receives the shared data?

Your chosen AI client and its provider. Their processing and retention policies also apply. Revocation stops future access but does not automatically delete answers they have already received.

Does the data always show what is happening right now?

No. Location and other information depend on the phone, connectivity and permissions. Check observation and report receipt times. Missing data does not mean zero use or that an event did not happen.

What does MCP not do?

It does not enable listening, take payments, reveal passwords or provide administrative access. It does not schedule its own briefing deliveries, automatically remove a one-off block after a set time or control iOS Screen Time.

Start with one useful question.

Select children, allow the data you need and bring family context into the assistant you use.
