Does SOS call the police or an ambulance?

No. It alerts the connected parent accounts. Your family should agree how to respond and how to contact emergency services directly when needed.

Can I use sound around the child on iPhone?

Listening around the child is supported with an Android child phone. It requires microphone permission and an appropriate plan or listening allowance. Explain this access to your child before enabling it.

Will alerts always bypass silent mode?

Sound behaviour depends on the operating system, notification permissions and device settings. We do not promise that every alert will bypass silent mode.
