A connection you set up
You install the child companion app, connect it with a code and review permissions on that phone. Discuss when you will check the map and which alerts you both find useful.
Who sees the shared location?
Parents connected to the child’s account can access the family’s shared information. Keep connection codes and account access within your family. The full privacy policy also explains data processing, service providers and other disclosures.
Permissions with a purpose
Location access enables map updates and place alerts. Notifications deliver messages and alerts. Microphone access supports sound features on an Android child phone. Review the permission prompts for your installed version.
Review or end the connection
Use child settings in the parent app to manage the connection. You can also review the companion app’s permissions in the phone settings; turning off location access interrupts updates. Account deletion requests are separate from removing a phone connection.
Need help with your information?
Use the account deletion option where available or contact support@geopapa.com to request help with access, deletion or an unwanted connection. The privacy policy explains retention and processing; removing an app is not the same as deleting an account.
